The eighteen holes golf course has changed over time, but they still maintain their respectful golfing services. The golf club can fit up to 150 people while providing ceremony and reception under one roof. The ceremony can be held in their tranquil and charming grass space, where the reception has floor to ceiling glass showcasing the panoramic view of the golf course. The club is located in a very significant spot where originally was an orchard and then used for pottery works. After World War II the site was used to serve as a campsite for displaced migrants. In 1950 Hornsby Shire Council purchased the site and the Asquith bowling club was born. The bowling club also serves as a community hub where locals are able to mingle with each other over lunch or dinner with their weekly held events. The club was formed in 1953 and originally a sports club that helps support sporting pursuits such as netball, cricket and little nippers. By the mid 1960s the club focused onto the popular growth in rugby league and cricket, hence today catering players from under 6 to all ages. Their mission statement is “we develop good players and we develop good people” a reflection for good sportsmanship where integrity, commitment and teamwork is shown. The club strives for a healthy competitive attitude as well as enjoying the game to build self confidence and lasting relationships within their team.

Lastly the Asquith soccer club, founded in 1969 prides itself as “the friendly club”. The club’s home ground is between two locations, the Asquith Park and Asquith Boys High. It welcomes players from all ages, gender and skills while promoting fair and fun play. The soccer club has had their highs and lows throughout the seasons, but serves an important role within the Northern suburb districts.
